Our History
A.C.T began as an extension of the energy in the 2008 presidential campaign. When we began, as a group, we were neighbors, bound together by the desire for change. By November 4, 2008, we had grown to over 200 people strong. Recognizing that we had a nucleus of a strong organization and realizing there was much that needed to be done we felt it was important to continue as a group to ensure the change our community needed came to fruition. Grown from that vision, ArapaHope Community Team was organized.
